The Grade 4/5 Lego League team competed against 41 teams and won the Innovation Project Award for their hard work. Congratulations to Pavlo, Beni, Grace, Jaxson, Brooklyn, James, Roman, and Ezra!

Wednesday, November 20th Warford hosted a Math Night, featuring an escape room style game where scholars solved problems with their families to "escape" to the gym where pizza was served and gift cards were raffled off for participants.

On Monday, November 11th Warford welcomed a special presentation by Healthy Hip Hop during our Rocket Launch Assembly. Students were treated to a variety of Hip Hop songs with a healthy message. Some of our scholars and teachers were invited on stage to participate.

The Hickman Mills C-1 School District is fighting for accreditation from the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE), a fight the school district has been in for over a decade.
Superintendent Dr. Yaw Obeng says the district is now on track to end the fight, with its latest improved scores.

The Hickman Mills C-1 School District (HMC-1) celebrated a major milestone with the grand opening of the district’s new Real-World Learning Center on Monday, September 30. Located at 10301 Hickman Mills Dr. in Kansas City, MO, this marks the first new building to open in the district in over a decade, signaling a bold step forward in innovative education and community development.

Hickman Mills C-1 School District is delighted to announce that it is offering complimentary Adult English as a Second Language (ESL) classes for all HMC-1 families. The classes are hosted at Hickman Mills Middle School, located at 9010A Old Santa Fe Rd., Kansas City, MO 64138, and occur every Thursday until December 12.
